Your North Sikkim adventure begins! Get picked up from NJP/Siliguri and drive through scenic mountain roads to reach Gangtok. After check-in, we'll assist with permit arrangements for North Sikkim. Evening at leisure to explore MG Marg and prepare for the high-altitude journey ahead.
Early morning departure to Lachen, a remote mountain village. Journey through beautiful landscapes including the confluence of Teesta and Lachen rivers at Chungthang. Pass through pine forests and traditional Sikkimese villages. Arrive at Lachen village and overnight stay to acclimatize for Gurudongmar Lake tomorrow.
Early morning start (around 4 AM) for the highlight of your trip — Gurudongmar Lake at 17,800 ft, one of the highest lakes in the world. Experience the pristine turquoise waters surrounded by snow-covered peaks. After spending time at the lake, return to Lachen for breakfast. Then drive to Lachung via Chungthang. Overnight stay in Lachung.
Early morning visit to the breathtaking Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers) at 11,800 ft with its carpet of alpine flowers and hot springs. Continue to Zero Point at 15,300 ft for panoramic views of snow-clad mountains and glaciers. Return to Lachung for lunch and overnight stay. Experience the pristine beauty of untouched Himalayan landscapes.
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Gangtok. Drive through the scenic mountain roads, passing through Chungthang and following the Teesta River. Arrive in Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Rest and relax after your high-altitude adventure. Optional evening visit to MG Marg for shopping and dining.
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to NJP/Siliguri. Carry unforgettable memories of high-altitude lakes, pristine valleys, and the majestic Himalayas. Drop-off timed to match your departure schedule. Take home souvenirs and stories of your North Sikkim adventure.
